Job Title: Technical Software Support Intern (Customer Chat Support)

This internship is a great opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in technical support, customer service, and AI-based tools, all while working remotely.

Internship Overview:

We are hiring 4 Technical Software Support Interns to join our support team. You’ll provide live chat and ticket-based support to our users, helping them solve technical and billing-related issues. This role is ideal for students currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering (preferably in their 2nd or 3rd year) who want to gain real-world experience in a professional, tech-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Live Chat Support: Engage with customers via live chat to assist with software, integration, or billing-related queries.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Help users resolve common issues related to our AI-powered tools and integrations.
  • Bug Reporting: Guide users in reporting bugs and ensure proper documentation via tools like Jira (training provided).
  • Customer Assistance: Assist with basic billing-related concerns and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Knowledge Building: Learn and stay updated on the product and its latest features to support customers effectively.
  • Team Collaboration: Work alongside senior support staff to escalate complex issues and improve support workflows.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Education: Currently enrolled in 2nd or 3rd year of a Computer Science / Software Engineering program.
  • English Proficiency: Good command of English (written and spoken).
  • Typing Speed: Minimum 40 words per minute with accuracy.
  • Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of software tools, web technologies, and common technical terms.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally in writing.
  • Customer-Focused: Willingness to help others, learn quickly, and provide excellent support.
  • Work Ethic: Self-motivated, responsible, and able to work remotely with minimal supervision.

Bonus Skills (Not Required but Nice to Have):

  • Familiarity with customer support tools or chat platforms
  • Experience using Jira, WordPress, or other software development tools
  • Interest in AI or software development

 

Technical Requirements:

  • A reliable computer or laptop capable of running multiple browser tabs or chat platforms
  • A stable and high-speed internet connection

Work Schedule:

    • Working Days: Saturday to Wednesday
    • Weekend: Thursday & Friday
  • Shift Options (Choose one):
  • Shift 1 (Morning): 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Shift 2 (Day): 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
  • Shift 3 (Evening): 6:00 PM – 12:00 AM
  • Shift 4 (Night): 12:00 AM – 6:00 AM
